Ranks are an unlock-and-level progression layer that sits alongside upgrades, runes and prestige. Guides describe unlocking ranks and leveling them as part of the main loop, but they do not publish a named rank chart.
Unlock ranks, then level them. GameRant says RuneSpeed potions shrink the wait on ranks. On our Sep 5, 2026 active list, 8 of 12 codes include RuneSpeed, so redeeming codes is the best published way to stock rank-wait help.
Roblox Den lists 2 Rank Keys on the 5kFavs code reward. A Chess Incremental YouTube short titled “Spending 5k rank Keys!” also shows players spending Rank Keys in-game. Exact spend UI and costs still need in-game confirmation, and PCGamesN/Pocket Tactics do not list Rank Keys for 5kFavs.

Publisher guides describe the loop as: earn Chess → buy upgrades → unlock currencies → roll runes → unlock/level ranks → prestige for more content.
MobileMatters and Roblox Den both say players unlock ranks and level them up. That is the strongest public description of how ranks work without naming each tier.
GameRant explicitly says RuneSpeed potions shrink the wait on ranks. That is the only widely repeated numeric-adjacent rank mechanic in code guides.
On the Sep 5, 2026 PCGamesN/Pocket Tactics active list used by this site, 8 of 12 codes grant RuneSpeed potions alongside tickets.
Roblox Den lists 2 Rank Keys on 5kFavs. A Chess Incremental short by Wasking120 is titled “Spending 5k rank Keys!”, which supports that Rank Keys are a spendable in-game resource. Exact costs and menus remain unverified in written guides.
Destructoid notes there is no standalone wiki or Trello yet. Exact rank names, thresholds and rewards must come from the live game or Discord until a public table exists.
